Graham Pearce – Managing Director
Graham established his law firm in 1981 having previously worked for Eversheds. During his career he has worked in most areas of the Law but now deals mainly with Charity Law, Business Law, Trusts, Probate and Tax planning.
Graham was educated at Tudor Grange Grammar School and Keele University. where he read Law and History. He is married to Diana and they have four grown up children. As well as running a law firm Graham was for many years a leader of The King’s Church Solihull before handing over to a full time leader in 2008. He also served as a governor of Tudor Grange School form 1988 to 2004.
Having a little more spare time enables some indulgence of a love of Italy, painting and a new found passion for bread making!
Nicholas Thomas – Director
Nicholas joined the firm in 2009 as a litigation solicitor having previously worked for a specialist litigation firm since qualification.
He deals with individuals and businesses in all areas where you need someone to “fight your corner”. This ranges from contractual disputes, matrimonial and financial matters, employment, personal injury claims, disputes over wills, in fact, any situation where you may find yourself in dispute!
Nicholas was educated at Bishop Vesey’s Grammar School in Sutton Coldfield before studying Law at Liverpool University and completing his post graduate studies back in Birmingham.
Having been a Scout himself, Nicholas is now a Scout Leader of a local troop which means he spends most of his spare time enjoying the great outdoors, camping and organising a myriad of challenging events.
Elaine Cox- Conveyancing Manager
Elaine Cox manages the Property team at Pearcelegal dealing with both Commercial and Residential transactions. She has many years experience in the law, having previously worked in Edgbaston for many years before joining Pearcelegal some 7 years ago.
Her depth of knowledge and experience are invaluable in dealing with all aspects of residential conveyancing including transfer of equity; enfranchisement; shared ownership; staircasing; remortgaging and all aspects of leasehold property, as well as the complexities of commercial matters.
Elaine has a degree in Biology and brings a rigorous scientific approach to the law. Outside of work she enjoys walking, has a interest in geology, sometimes combining the two interests. She loves tennis and can be found at SW19 every summer.
Amy Lloyd – Solicitor
Amy Lloyd qualified as a Solicitor in June 2010. She has worked at Pearcelegal for five years and has gained wide experience dealing with Wills, Trusts and Probate including Powers of Attorney, Residential and Commercial Conveyancing as well as Business Law and Charity Law.
Amy was educated at Langley School in Solihull before completing her Law degree in Leicester and her postgraduate training at the College of Law in Birmingham.
Amy is an accomplished pianist and a film fanatic with a love of traveling which has seen her skiing in Canada, snorkeling in the Caribbean, holding a koala in Australia and walking around pyramids in Egypt.
Richard Brown – Client Relationship Manager
Richard is the firm’s residential conveyancing Client Relationship Manager and rejoined the team in October 2011, having previously worked for the firm in the late 80′s and early 90′s.
Tracey Hopkins – Property Assistant
After more than 15 years of experience with other law firms, Tracey joined the Property Team at Pearcelegal in 2005 where she now enjoys her role as property Assistant.
Tracey is a full time working mom with a teenage daughter who takes up much of her spare time and money!
She is a lover of animals except spiders and enjoys watching films in the little spare time she has.
Suzanne Morgan – Probate Assistant
After a number of years working for solicitors, Suzanne joined Pearcelegal in 2007 to work in the Litigation Team. However, in 2008 an opportunity arose to join the Probate Team and she thoroughly enjoys her work as probate assistant and the friendly environment of Pearcelegal.
When Suzanne isn’t working she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the theatre, reading and has a real passion for Formula One motor racing.
Mary Davies- Property Assistant
Mary joined Pearcelegal in 2004 after many years experience with other local law firms. Mary has experience in working in the wills, trusts and probate department and now works closely with Elaine in the property department.
Mary is a mother of three teenage children and in her spare time enjoys going to concerts, swimming and reading.
Denise Stockton – Accounts Manager
Denise is Pearcelegal’s longest serving employee, having joined the firm in 1987, initially running the accounts department, then as Practice Manager. She later trained to undertake legal work, which she took on with enthusiasm. In 2007, she resumed as Accounts Manager with personnel responsibility. She enjoys the happy working atmosphere in the office which lightens the load of serious work.
On the personal level, Denise is a Golf loving Gran who enjoys the gym as well! She enjoys reading, playing bridge and travelling, which she does a lot of, having family in South Africa and New Zealand.
Debbie Lloyd- Accounts Assistant
Debbie joined the firm in 2006 after many years experience with Birmingham Solicitors. She works in Accounts and Administration, deals with suppliers and enjoys the day-to-day challenges this department offers.
She was educated at Tudor Grange School and Solihull College gaining qualifications in Office Management and Secretarial skills.
Debbie enjoys swimming, yoga and relaxing holidays in the sun. She also loves renovating her Victorian home at weekends.
Diana Pearce – Client Support
Graham’s wife, Diana, has been a mainstay of the firm since its inception. With her legal secretarial background she provides administrative assistance for the firm and also support for those clients who need help running their day to day affairs at home.
To this end she has set up a separate business, associated with Pearcelegal, which specialises in giving assistance to the elderly.
